Extremely satisfied

In 2012 my ex filed restraining orders and for divorce. Her attorney called me and told me I had court in the morning. The next morning I didn't even get to see the judge and was ordered to move out my house by 5:00pm and couldn't contact or see my boys. My Uncle used Cornell for his divorce and r...ecommended me to his office. I was scheduled for an appointment the same day and met with both attorneys Cornell and Brian. They met with me for over an hour and explaind what had happened and how we could move forward. At the next hearing the restraining orders were dismissed and I was sent to mediation to talk about custody and visitation. At the next hearing Themediator recommended that I have supervised visits and take parenting classes. I was honestly disappointed with the results but over the next year we went to court 7 seven times and at every hearing i got more time with my boys. I eventually was awarded custody every Monday to Wednesday morning and every other weekend. We finally had trial in January to resolve the divorce and I was able to keep my retirement and terminate spousal support. During the entire case the staff was amazing. Alexes was the paralegal assigned to me and she was great she answered all my questions and walked me thru the whole process. Very satisfied

Custody of my son

I had two attorneys prior to hiring Mr. Hatcher and I spent a lot of money and didn't get anywhere. They told me exactly what they were going to do an got started on my case right away. I was in court in two days and was awarded primary custody of my son and my Ex is on supervises visits. Extremel...y happy with the results

RACHEL CUSTODY CASE

Mr. Hatcher represented my brother several years ago for a divorce and he had a very positive experience. I hired him in March 2013 for a custody case after not being happy with my first attorney. Dissatisfied Client

Cornell Hatcher unfortunately did not provide professional code of conduct. He took my case and on many occasions I called to speak with him and he did not return my calls. I relayed messages with staff and we did meet and he made verbal promises of settling my case. I asked him for a breakdown h...e said sure, because I wanted to make sure no misunderstandings. I never received it. Instead I received a DocuSign on August 4, 2021 which was misleading to the verbal agreement. I settled my case under duress for only the reimbursement of my medical fees was our verbal agreement. Later Mr. Hatcher would refer to me to show him in writing. The defendants had already made some efforts to do that service without the aid of attorney.
