Long overdue review of my immigration case!

I moved to California from the midwest since my lawyer in Chicago was not able to do anything to my immigration case.. A family friend referred me to John Perry and consulted my case. And immediately got the needed no BS/ straight forward advice but kind, gentle, and very professional. We moved ba...ck to the midwest by the time i got my greencard and I’ve heard that John has moved to another office. But I’m back in the west now and had my oath taken at the Staples Centers with 10,000 other new Americans. The experience was exhilarating, no words can ever describe the feeling as i was going down the escalator with family waiting and thousands of spectators cheering. John made it all possible, and until now i can still remember that rainy afternoon as i was driving from Orange County to my appointment with him at 4pm and got stuck in 405. I can remember vividly the conversation i made over the phone explaining why i will be late (in fact very late ) and John considerably opted to wait. The very same day my life changed, became hopeful that somethings can actually be realized. Thank you, John , from my family to yours, may this holiday season bring more prosperity and good health and in many more years to come. I’m a US citizen for 5 years now .

Fantastic Experience

I had a complicated immigration case that was assigned to one of his associates. It took 5 years to go through the whole process, and when were finally ready to go to trial. My attorney left. John Perry took over the case, and expertly represented me. He represented me effectively, and was honest ...with me throughout the process. Thanks John. You definitely hit this one out of the park.

Successful Green Card Application!

i just got a successful response on my green card application and I must take time out to thank Atty. Perry and his hardworking staff. They have overseen my paper work from the beginning till the end. In between we had a lot of other extension fillings and they were always prompt and knew exactly... what they were doing. Many many years ago I had quit their law offices and transferred to another law office! IT WAS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE I EVER MADE. The other law office spoilt my wife's paper work and couldn't do anything about it and my wife lost her status! Moreover, it cost me a lot of delays. Finally I came back to the law offices of Atty Perry and step by step we got back into filling the appropriate papers to get me and my wife a green card! Atty. Perry, me and my wife truly appreciate your guidance, patience & knowledge. We wish more power and success to you, your staff and your law office. To miss Emily, we cannot thank you enough for your hard work, patience, kindness & dedication to our paper work. I wish you all the best as we move forward together towards achieving my citizenship. God bless!

SAME SEX COUPLE GETS QUICK FAVORABLE DETERMINATION ON GREEN CARD

I am a native US citizen and married my longterm boyfriend, a Spaniard. We were one of the first same sex couples married in Chicago when Illinois same sex marriage law became effective in June 2014. Because this was relatively uncharted territory we were especially concerned about negotiating the c...omplicated Green Card procedure. I am a Louisiana resident where same sex marriage is/was? not available and proposed to my now spouse while we were on vacation in Chicago. Because of personal and financial reasons, we decided he would remain and we would apply for a Green Card. I have a legal background so I began the long arduous process of trying to figure out how the US Citizenship and Immigration Services operates and the maze of forms and fees; it was daunting and scary. After a lot of effort, I realized, like any legal matter, it's not what you know, it's what you DON'T KNOW that causes problems. I sat at the computer for days, reviewed forms, filing fees, USCIS explanations and guides and spoke withe USCIS agents by phone. I also did the general internet research you'd expect and was frustrated, stressed out and frightened to make a mistake. All of this despite having an excellent education at a fine private university and law school and 20 years experience as a lawyer. I was over my head. What to do? I spoke to several organizations that handle same sex issues, and communicated with a few lawyers here in my state. I was still uneasy when I spoke to a close friend who had gotten married in California and applied for a Green card for his same sex European spouse. He had hired John Perry and Associates and got a prompt favorable response=Green card. The complicated USCIS process has to be followed to the letter, the USCIS fees are high and much effort and attention to detail is required. After an initial conversation with John Perry, we both breathed a huge sigh of relief. He reassured us, made me realize that there WERE gaps in my knowledge. We hired him even though he is in California and we are in Louisiana. We had a very fair payment schedule. We had constant contact with his immigration specialist Rouiza Causay. She was very kind and friendly, responsive and calming. We were given direct and explicit instructions for each step of the process. NOTE: The Green card process requires substantial effort on behalf of the applicants. It is most definitely a team effort; you must be proactive and forthcoming as in any legal situation. Disclosure allows for possible issues to be anticipated. Rouiza spent many calls clarifying matters and John Perry made himself available whenever we felt we needed his advice or opinion. Louis the firm communications person was friendly, and passed along information or requests when we called. So the deadlines and events happened, documents prepared, sent in, appointments (like biometrics) promptly kept, payments made and we received notice of the highly anticipated INTERVIEW DATE. We were nervous from all the nightmare stories that are out there, the high stakes involved, the effort and resources invested, plus the newness and uncertainty of the same sex issues throughout the country. Rouiza walked us through, we practiced and put in our tremendous effort to collect and catalogue the documents which evidenced our relationship and married life. Prepared, we had our interview. The agent was cordial and professional, he took some of the many documents and pictures we had with us. Some questions about where we met, how we kept a long distance relationship going; he acknowledged the same sex issues and the wait that had made us endure. He told us ON THE SPOT our Green card would be granted; it arrived about a week later. I honestly believe that we had such a positive result from the guidance of John and Rouiza. They were excellent leaders of our "team." I highly recommend them to anyone in the Green card process. Good luck.
