Business Litigation & Family Law Representation

My business partner and I hired Jeff for a business litigation case on a real estate venture we invested in. Although the asset was out of state, Jeff was able to pursue action on our behalf against one of the principals who lived in the San Fernando Valley. Jeff was able to put the pieces of the c...ase together quite quickly and did a masterful job in the court room going after the principal/partner we invested through. He was able to "read the judge" and hit those points of law and details of the case to enable the judge to clearly see the wrong doing. We won the case and collected on the award for damages. While litigating the business case and after seeing him in action, I asked if he could do the same in a divorce proceeding I was mired in for over 3 yrs. Having specialized in family law as well as mediating over 300 family disputes, he reluctantly took my case and started back in this area of practice. Again, at the end of the day, Jeff was able rehabilitate my position in the eyes of the judge, took on two big time LA family law teams and at the end of the prevailed on my behalf again. I would whole heartedly recommend Jeff for litigation and divorce representation. He can quickly asses the situation and layout both the challenges as well as downside of pursuing legal action. Nothing comes quick or cheap; if you hire right you get what you pay for.

Terrible

He handled my divorce case, which initiated in April 2013.It seemed pretty simple to me. I was married 30 years. We split assets down the middle. My ex is a law enforcement so i was entitled to 1/2 of his pension and 1/2 of his benefits...which i still have not recieved because he didn't provide a jo...inder. I gave up a retirement pension and a home to retain my home so my daughter could continue in her same school district. From the very start i wanted child support garnished as my ex stalks me and steals my mail. When i told jeff he was dismissive and said he wouldn't kill me...well I'm not sure...it's been 4vyears...he puts me off like i'm busy. I've paid him over 15k...a total waste of money. I thought he was my ex's attorney. It's as if he wanted to drag this ish on forever to get more money from me.DO NOT HIRE HIM. He actually wants to charge me for costs after his mistakes!! . Lolol Gtfoh! Too many attorneys out there to be bothered with an incompetent one. He also has disciplinary actions on his license...check the California Bar website...real shady...Do Not Do It!!

shouldnt have a license

You don't want him as your lawyer .He is absolutely inept .He has been disciplined so many times from the bar and has ripped off and frauded even more .He barely knows the law. I counted on him to at the very least file my case correctly .Well he didn't. He filed so badly that the judge didn't even w...ant to hear the case but not after the fact he took 7500 dollars from me .He also had me and my wife do all the work. He is lazy and unbalanced .He's been fired from his firm for all these reasons plus some .That's why he now has to practice on his own .Do NOT RETAIN HIM. You will be sorry and half to pay twice as much to fix his mistakes .Horrible lawyer .

Capable, Honest and Hard working!

Jeff Alpert would be an assets in any legal situation I could think of. Jeff, unlike many has the impressive ability to say the words "I do not know, but I will find the answer or refer the question to someone that has it". I realize saying it is much easier than it being applied, but if you can im...agine just for a second an attorney that follows through with what he/she says and moreover, is a force to be reckoned with in any arena, if you know Jeff Alpert he would certainly have had to be the first to come to mind. Jeff Alpert brought litigation to the door step of a huge and powerful Corporation involving a property damage claim. This claim was major as it involved the destruction on my Grandmothers home and I am sure without Jeff Alpert in our corner we would not have prevailed. In the classic David and Goliath scenario Jeff put the Respondent's on notice and clearly and concisely delivered a promise of the unleashing of legal hell if they pushed the issue of their erroneous claims of "no responsibility". Jeff is honestly one of the hardest working Attorneys I have ever met and he is also a nice guy. However, if you must defend against him, the word nice is the furthest thing from my mind. Success in litigation = Jeff Paul Albert, Attorney at Law
