Replied last July 09, 2019This particular client did not want to admit his wrong doing nor cooperate with the necessary experts I proposed. He was in total denial of the overwhelming evidence against him. He is totally incorrect about his bail issues and bail hearing. The bail was reduced by 50%. The new lawyer he subsequently retained found the same problems with this client. I was negotiating his case, that is when he became delusional. My negotiations were for 2 years in state prison. He went to trial with his new lawyer, who was also a good attorney. The client turned down all offers to settle his very serious criminal case. The JURY found this client guilty on all charges. He was sentence by the Judge to 5 years in state prison. I give very little weight to his opinion to my law practice and legal competency.
