All in all my experience with David Gonor was great. A lawyer I had previously was trying to go after assets and I guess figured out there were none and told me he couldn't be my lawyer anymore. David picked up the case and found out right away. So we did what my previous lawyer didn't. David was gre...at with not just me but my family as well. We tried a few different options but all in all I couldn't have gotten more than what was needed.

I will be 50 in a few months and I have never had the need for an attorney till last year when I got hurt while staying at Oceanside suite up the coast. When I got home I tried calling their cooperate office, just hoping to get an apology and maybe even some of our money back. I was blown off and... When I called he actually answered the phone and we talked for almost an hour about what happened and if I had any options. He explained everything very slowly to me and spoke to me with words that any average Joe could understand. He did not set any unreal expectations; he gave me a very simple & clear time lime on how this could all go. He was always there over the last year when I had just the simplest of questions to me needing something explained to me again on why things happen in the ways they do. Me not knowing how this all really worked from time to time I would tell my wife after I would hang up with David; “Not sure how much that call is going to cost or add to my bill”. Thinking yes I did read the agreement I signed with David and his firm but I just knew there were going to be hidden fees that I would never know about till the end when it was time to settle my payout. Well I am here to tell you. David and his firm never charged me a dime for the any of the many questions I had over the phone, by email or text over the last year. They only charged me for services like getting my medical records etc… because I just couldn’t figure out where to go or who to even request my records from. The fees I was charged I was very aware of and they were in no way out of line or overpriced. These fees were taken off the top of my settlement, this whole process never cost me a dime out of my pocket. If you are looking for a fair and honest attorney to handle your case, one that will not sugar coat it, one that will take the time to help you understand the process then you need to call David. He gave me a # in the beginning when I asked, and he didn’t really want to answer it but he did and he hit that # in the end. I couldn’t be happier. As dumb luck would have it, as I said I am turning 50 this year and I have never been in a car accident in my entire adult life. Well 6 months after hiring David I was hit by young kid who ran a red light and totaled my car and put me in the hospital. Well guess who I called before I even left the ER? I will add another review after this case settles and thus far David has handled this one just like my first case. Rob

I read these reviews of David Gonor on here and realize how the PI case universe if extremely unfair... I realize the people that had 1-star reviews did not get the outcome they were seeking. My experience with David was so good I have a tough time seeing the same person that some people have reviewe...d. Kind, thoughtful, and efficient would be the descriptive terms I would use. He was given a messy case that had spent nearly 18 months with another firm that had not gotten anywhere from the start. On the surface, I thought this case was simple. We then found out many elements of PI cases in California even when the police report is clearly in your favor. Geico had tried to not accept any part of the liability because the client denied he was responsible even though he explained he was to the police on the scene. David went to work and had the ball rolling right away. Within 6 months we had progressed from filings to interrogatories and depositions and finally the settlement phase and frankly, I had given up hope on even getting the expenses paid. But David worked hard and I walked away with a cash settlement. VERY PLEASED with all the service Mr. Gonor offered and put forth in this matter. SDavid Gonor took my personal injury case back in July of 2014. When he accepted the case and he stated I wouldn’t pay a dime if he lost/dropped the case. David sent me to therapy while negotiating for my compensation with the property managers of the place of injury. Months passed and I never heard ... from David. Near the end of 2014 he contacted me to tell me I was going to receive payment for the injury after all. However, I never heard from him again. I called and left voicemails and emails and never heard back. Finally one day he responded with “he suggests I should take my case to small claims”. After that I didn’t hear back for a few more months. Around July/August of 2015, I received a letter from David’s office where he states he has officially dropped the case. He gives no explanation for his action. Currently, about a month ago I received a call from a collection agency requesting payment for the therapy I received back in 2014. I explained the situation the agent and he stated he contacted David and he refused to pay the bill. I called David myself, he took the call and I explained the situation to him. He responded with “are you the one that was leaving negative comments on social media about me?”. I answered yes, because I reviewed his services on this website. He laughed and said he would call me back with answers and he never called me back. Bottom line is don’t use this guy!
