Biography
Mr. Abir focuses his practice on cases involving catastrophic injuries, pharmaceutical litigation, civil rights violations, as well as insurance bad faith. Prior to being one of the founding members of Abir Cohen Treyzon Salo, LLP., he was the managing partner of Alexander Cohen & Associates, LLP. Mr. Abir’s passion for advocating on behalf of consumers and representing plaintiffs has been the driving force behind his successful legal career.
Mr. Abir received his Juris Doctor in 1994 from Whittier Law School, where he was an editor with the Whittier Law Review. After obtaining his law degree, he attended Georgetown University Law Center and New York University Law School, where he obtained LL.M. degrees in International Law (1995) and Taxation (1999), respectively. Mr. Abir obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Southern California 1989.
