Otis R. Hayes III

Otis Hayes III is an attorney licensed in the State of California and in the United States Federal District Court for the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of California.  In his general law practice, Hayes represents clients in the areas of entertainment, music licensing and copyright, expungements, DUI, personal injury, bankruptcy, and probate.  Hayes devotes his pro bono time as a volunteer attorney at the Mesereau Free Legal Clinic and is currently the President of the Advisory Council.  Hayes has been in the entertainment field for many years as a professional drummer.  He has toured world-wide and has performed with an impressive list of recording artist such as, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Martha Reeves, Chuck Berry, The 5th Dimension, Ice-T and Bodycount, Johnny Rotten, Cyndi Lauper, Elvira, Rosmary Clooney, Les McCann, Boyz II Men, Sam Harris, Nell Carter, Jason Alexander. Hayes was raised in Austin, Texas and studied jazz composition and performance at the University of North Texas.  He later received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Industry Studies from California State University Northridge and his law degree from The University of West Los Angeles School of law.
