I should have known better when I received a cold call from Moshe, the office director. At the time, I mistakenly thought he was the attorney. He quickly collected my payment, but after that, communication was minimal or nonexistent. Moshe told me to "sit back and relax" and assured me that he "handl...es cases like mine every day." I became increasingly concerned when no one reached out to discuss legal strategy with me, especially with court just three days away. Eventually, I received a call from Melvin, the actual attorney. Our conversation lasted a total of eight minutes, during which he seemed confused about the charges filed against me. I got the impression that he was incompetent and never asked how I wanted to plead. The deal that was offered to me was terrible, and Moshe, the office manager, even suggested that I accept jail time. I feel cheated by this office. I was misled, and I don't believe anyone was genuinely advocating for me. This experience was no better than having a public defender.

I met a young man once years ago who had been f@$#ed over by his hired attorney MELVIN BETNUM. The story he told me was awful, the poor man had been preyed upon, lied to and his situation was far worse in the end than when he hired Betnum. I honestly don’t even remember specifics of his story but I d...o remember being appalled, angered and feeling so sorry for this young black man. It was just today that I found the notebook of mine that I jotted the name ‘MELVIN BETNUM- A$$hole Attorney’ down when I met the young guy and listened to his misfortunes… and decided to look the SOB up.

Refered to me through a mutual contact. Knew more about my case upon first visit then i knew myself. Gave me a reasonable and affordable deal for my case, he really works with and for his clients. Literally turned a maximum sentence into all but case being dismissed. I dont know many people in law, b...ut if i needed assistance in the future, id ask him first without any hesitation.
