John Higgins Sommers

I couldn't have asked for more from Attorney John Sommers. I was charged with my 2nd DUI which involved an accident where I collided with a median, not another car. Right before my court date, the DA filed a Felony DUI, Hit and Run, and tried to charge me with a strike. Needless to say, I panicked, a...nd didn't sleep the night before court. I had anticipated having to show up to court, pleading innocent, and having to post a bond for the 50000 bail they were requesting. I had a bail bondsman on standby. Long story short, not only did I not have to pay any bail, my entire court date was wrapped up in one visit. Strike was removed, felony dui was dropped to misdemeanor (without injury), and Mr. Sommers got the hit & run removed. I couldn't be more happy with the absolutely professional services Mr. Sommers provided. I would highly recommend him to anybody involved with any type of case requiring court. Thank you for all your help, and as I told you when we said good bye, I pray I never have to see you again :)

I had obtained John's services shortly after I had a DUI and it was the greatest decision I have ever made. he was able to perform miracles given the circumstances from getting my license reinstated to giving me all the advice I needed to know. He guided me to get certain things done before the actua...l court date to better our chances. He went to court for me until I absolutely was needed. Last but not least he convinced the prosecuting attorney to reduce the DUI to a wet reckless. Had my $2000 fees changed to 2 days of community service which I was more than happy to do. I ended up having to pay only $270 for court fees with community service. If that's not a great deal I don't know what is?! Thank you John. I'll be sure to spread the word.

Police officers are very aggressive when conducting sobriety checkpoints.  I was entrapped for the first time in my life on the weekend of July 4th 2020. The week following my arrest and the night I spend in Jail I received letters from different firms offering to represent me. I chose Mr. Sommers to... represent me because overall it was the best balance in the type of representation I required and within my budget. Once I called and presented my facts or at least my side of the story, John was able to determine what the possible outcomes could be. This is what I can do and what I can't do ! The outcome was accurate , and I am glad and thankful I made the right decision. This experience has made me more cautious about the way I go about in life.

John Sommers made the most scary time of my life soooooo much easier! If you got a DUI this is your lawyer.
