Excellent BK attorney
Stella was excellent in the BK process of mine from the start till the end. She is very knowledgeable & hands down the best BK lawyer in town. She is prompt with her responses & also very personable. All aspects of my BK procedure went very smoothly. I recommend her to anyone that is looking for a great bankruptcy attorney.

Absolutely OUTSTANDING!!!
At the start of the pandemic, my business was forced to close and my mother was simultaneously diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease which left me no choice but to file for bankruptcy. My accountant referred Stella stating she had a very calming demeanor and he was confident she would be a positive spirit to help me through the difficult times I was going through. From the first phone call, I was CRAZY ABOUT HER!!! Stella worked diligently on my case; she left no stone unturned and in my personal opinion (I've never filed bankruptcy before) she went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I was treated fairly. She took the stress away due to calls from creditors by absorbing all negative communication on my behalf; accepted documents at all times of the night or day and was there for me during a couple of tearful days when I just felt overwhelmed dealing with the bankruptcy, business failure, and my mom's medical diagnosis. One significant thing I want to mention - there was a lien on my property and out of nowhere, Stella remembered and filed a motion to make sure it was addressed before the charge off which saved me from possibly paying a company nearly 30K!!! I still don't know how she remembered such an isolated detail but thank God She Did!!! When my bankruptcy was charged off, I was actually sad because that meant I wasn't going to hear from Stella again....but I still email her monthly just to stay in touch because at the end of the day, she gave me a fresh financial start and I owe my new clean financial status to her! If you need a bankruptcy attorney who is smart, professional, well organized, compassionate, and just a great person - I HIGHLY recommend hiring Stella Havkin. She's the BEST!!!

Stella is AMAZING! She very successfully completed a Chapter 13 Filing for me recently and I HIGHLY recommend her for anyone considering Bankruptcy 7 or 13. She is always very responsive and on top of everything. The bankruptcy process can be complicated and confusing and she always makes sure to explain everything in great detail so you are able to follow the process. She is HONEST and CARING and deserves 10 Stars! I will definitely be using Stella Havkin again for my future Estate Planning needs. I'm very pleased with such wonderful service!

Best BK Lawyer!!
Stella Havkin is hands down the best BK lawyer in town. She is very knowledgeable in the bankruptcy field and her experience is worth more than a gold mine. My case was a very complicated one, it had so many twists and turns, with so many obstacles on the way leading me to high stress levels, but Stella was able to every time clear all obstacles and resolve every single problem. Stella was always engaged in my situation and very accessible. I was always able to quickly get answers to any of my questions or concerns. Professional, Knowledgeable and supportive during difficult times
Stella Havkin is simply the best BK attorney!!! She is extremely knowledgeable in Bankruptcy Law and she is a very good communicator. Stella is a very knowledgeable and persistent Attorney who will have your best interest in mind no matter how difficult or lengthy a problem is. She is a gem and communicates regularly with you to put you at ease no matter how busy she is. When she sets expectations, she delivers on them...good lawyers are hard to find these days...we were fortunate to have found her. A lawyer that gives lawyers a good name!
Ms. Havkin was very knowledgable, communicative and responsive at all phases of our negotiations. She was able to resolve our case for 8% of the original debtors preference period settlement demand. We would highly recommend her and commend her professionalism and experience.

She Gets it Done ... the BEST I've worked with
I had been scrambling around for over 3 years in an attempt to get out of the vicious cycle I was in with the bank during the foreclosure process. Until Stella, no one was able to provide sound advice, clear direction and execute all necessary to ensure closure. The amount of professionalism and my knowing she was there every step of the way alleviated an enormous amount of stress and sleepless nights. I had talked to several other attorneys over the duration of my BK situation and no one came close to Stella on every level. I highly recommend her!

Scary times were handled well.
I would not only recommend Stella in the future, but I have to several people already. She handled my case, my now wifes case, my brothers case, and several of my friends who have asked for help. Stella is a consumate professional and really goes the extra mile to make sure that you understand the process in great detail. Her rates are reasonable and she always gets back to me the same day. I'm now over a year out of my bankruptcy, and my business is rocking along and am available to manage my life a bit differently. Thanks to Stella and the videos we had to watch about planning and debt. Made perfect sense and I still have no debt. Much easier way to live. Thanks Stella!!
