Michele Lyn Gibson

I had been working with another attorney on my divorce modification and all he did was bill me with no results. I live in Newport Beach could not find an attorney that did not have a high retainer fee. I swithched and I worked with Michele over the phone and via email and I got results! Her fee w...as resonable and she got the job done quickly. If you are working with a dead beat attorney, I would hightly recommend Michele Gibson. Her response time on my emails were acceptable and she always got back to me within a fair time frame. My experience working with Michele Gibson was very positive.

I have been represented by Michele for a year and a half. When I began going through my child custody proceeding, I had no idea what to expect. I didn't know the first thing about court, or the family law process. Michele has always fought for me, she is more than fair as far as billing goes, and re...cently started working with Ilana Schauer. These two women together are a dream team. They have addressed every need and issue, professionally. Unfortunately my ex has thrown every allegation, and obstacle imaginable out against me. Michele stood strong, and has always understood my financial difficulties. Michele has always given good, honest advice. There are a few important key things to consider when rating an attorney. There are some attorneys that gouge, and drag out process' to make as much money as they can. Those attorneys do not continue cases without receiving payment. They don't care if you are having difficulty or not making payments. They will drop you and go after the next person who will pay them. So that being said I can personally attest that Michele is not one of those attorneys. Second an attorney cannot be efficient in his/her craft if the information provided to them is inaccurate. Be honest with your attorney. The last thing you need is to get to court and have the other side pull out evidence against you that your attorney is unaware of. Third attorneys go through expensive school and training to get where they are. Most of them are passionate about what they do. It is not in their interest to loose cases. I hired Michele last year to represent me in a child custody case. She is unresponsive, and lied to the court. She attacked the other parent so horribly with lies and this caused the case to run up thousands of more dollars than it should have. She wasn't looking out for me, she was just looki...ng for ways to add fees to the case. One of the most unethical people I've ever met.

She is hard to get in contact with. Not to mention she delays the process and keeps racking up her attorney bill. She is unreasonable when it comes to negotiating anything that would be FAIR. Her fees are not worth the delays, anxiety and agony she has put me through. When I filed for a divorce I... wanted it final as soon as possible. I've been at it for over a year and its still not finalized. I cant move on with my life with her impossible work ethics to be reasonable with the other part so I can close this chapter in my life.

What I appreciate the most about Ms. Gibson is that she has always placed my interests above her her own. Some lawyers want you to keep fighting so they can keep getting paid, but Ms. Gibson is an honest and knowledgable attorney who has shown me consistently that she cares most about my relationshi...p with my son. She is sometimes hard to get a hold of, but she always returns your calls within a couple of days. I would recommend her as your attorney without hesitation.
