You are still liable to pay. Since he was never released they might reduce their fee.

If police have a warrant (search) do they have to produce that warrant at time of search??

Courts do not necessarily start on time. Hopefully, she made it before they issued a warrant.

Go to the clerk at the court you were supposed to appear. They will have the answers for you.
