Before I met my awesome divorce attorney Steve Marcus, I interviewed/met with nine other divorce attorneys. Then one day, I was having coffee with one of my friends and I mentioned to her that I was looking for a good divorce attorney. As soon as I met Steve I immediately knew he was the right attorney for my case. Steve is very aggressive, confident and knows the law like the back of his hand. He never ceases to amaze me how he can not only rattle off what the law is, but also what the statue number is. There are times I've found myself in awe just listening to him in the courtroom. I have been thrilled with the results. Steve has a comforting and compassionate side as well. When I'm upset and rattled Steve knows what to say to calm me down. Not only is Steve good with his clients he is good with children too. When my son was present at court Steve was amazing with him. As a matter of fact just a few days ago my son told me how much he enjoyed hanging out with Steve during the court breaks and how nice he is. Point being Steve has an aggressive side who fights for his clients, but a gentle side too. Meanwhile, my ex-husband has been through several divorce attorneys since the process began. They have either dropped him as a client or he has fired them because he keeps losing in the courtroom against Steve. I referred one of my friends to Steve (Steve was her fifth attorney) and he has gotten results for her that her previous four couldn't. Attorney Steven Marcus is the very best family law trial attorney I’ve ever witnessed in the courtroom! After four years of retaining various wishy-washy attorneys, in addition to representing myself at times, Attorney Marcus took over my high-conflict family law case, which includes ongoing custody/...visitation/child and spousal support issues at a complex point where several other attorneys have been reluctant to take on. During my initial meeting with Attorney Marcus, I was overwhelmed with all kinds of unresolved problems, but he took his time to calm me down and understand the history and outstanding issues in an unhurried, professional manner. He attentively listened to all of my concerns and gave me honest, objective advice on how to proceed... while not just telling me what I wanted to hear!
