Marc Holmquist is a litigator who has focused his career on employment litigation and counseling. Obtained pre-trial dismissal of cause of action for unfair competition alleging the misclassification of plaintiff as an exempt creative professional; after defendant moved for summary judgment, plaintiff dismissed the cause of action with prejudice in exchange for a waiver of costs.
Obtained pre-trial dismissal of entire action in federal district court alleging violations of the Fair Employment and Housing Act, federal fair housing laws, and related tort claims.
Obtained dismissal of harassment and discrimination claims before the Department of Fair Employment and Housing.
Obtained dismissal of retaliation claim before the Department of Labor Standards Enforcement
