My experience with this attorney was extremely disappointing, especially considering the confidence he gave me when I first retained him. When I initially walked into his office, he presented himself as an extremely confident and accomplished attorney who was going to take control of my case. He spo...ke very confidently about his abilities and even made dismissive comments about the opposing attorney, which gave me the impression that I had finally found someone who could successfully finish my case. Because of the confidence he gave me and the way he presented himself as the person who could finally get me through this case, I actually paid him more than the amount he requested. In the beginning, I felt that he was doing a decent job. There was even a court appearance that I felt was a major turning point in my case, and I left that experience feeling optimistic about the direction things were going. Then, literally the next day, everything changed. He called me and suddenly went from projecting extreme confidence in my case to telling me that I needed to settle because I was going to lose. The complete change in his attitude and position from one day to the next was extremely confusing and upsetting. It made me question why I had been given so much confidence previously if the situation was actually as hopeless as he was now telling me. I also had a very difficult experience with the way he communicated with me. In my experience, he would yell at me over the phone and speak to me in a rude and disrespectful manner. His behavior during these conversations made me feel small and as though I was stupid for asking questions or expressing concerns about my own case. I do not believe a client should be treated that way, regardless of how stressful a case may be. Ultimately, my case was settled and concluded approximately eight months ago. However, I am still waiting for the final paperwork from the court showing that the case is officially closed. For approximately eight months, I have been trying to contact this attorney regarding the matter, and I have not received even a single response. That lack of communication after the case was supposedly finished has been extremely frustrating. I retained him because I believed he was going to be the attorney who finally got me through the case and took care of everything. Instead, my experience left me feeling disappointed and ignored. I am sharing this review because I would want potential clients to know about my experience before making the decision to retain him. The confidence and promises I experienced at the beginning were very different from the way I was treated later. Based on my experience, I would not retain this attorney again.
