I had an unjust conviction that I received because of lazy representation. It nearly cost me to loose my family if I had continued to apply for legal permanent status. I had an unfortunate case, that I was unaware of and come to find out I was issued a warrant for my arrest, which I was also unaware of until I got pulled over and was arrested immediately. I spent 4 days in Jail an experience I would never want to go through again. I was given a public defender and ...heard various stories about how public defenders treat those they are defending especially when you can not afford a decent lawyer to represent you (by the way I am not bashing public defenders, a lot are really good and very caring but in my instance I was left disappointed. I phoned around a few law offices and every lawyer I came across was just about money money money, I mean I never seen firms act so greedy that lack empathy for a fellow human being going through such turmoil. I than came across Antoinette who was assigned to my cases through the law offices of Schwartz & Naderi. I had a meeting with Arvan Naderi, who I must say was very welcoming and honest about my situation he got straight to point and really made me feel positive about my possible outcome, a long with giving me what implications may occur. They started defending my cases and Antoinette was my representing attorney, she had went to all my pre trials dates except the first one which Robert Scwartz a Partner in the firm attended (There was around 9 off them in total), While keeping in constant communication and keeping paperwork in order along with other valuable things. I was told that I had to serve 90 days in Jail for one case, Driving on a suspended license with no insurance and speeding/Case 2 was for Simply Battery and they also wanted Jail time, along with multiple misdemeanor counts. Both cases showed an issue with authority hence the reason they wanted Jail time. Antoinette managed to get me no Jail time for either cases, a good deal where it would not affect my immigration. My case was very complex because I had multiple cases going on and not once did the law firm or Antoinette ask me for additional money, they gave me what I believe is a fair and good flat fee which took care of all pre trial hearings along with getting the best possible deal from my outcome. I will 100% be referring Antoinette Lias and Schwartz & Naderi Law offices to others in need of defending in criminal matters and If I ever need them again I will have no hesitation hiring Antionette.
