Anybody that’s in the unfortunate position to have to hire an attorney for a high conflict child custody case is already involved in a high drama situation. What makes navigating the waters easier, having piece of mind, and less drama is... having representation where the attorney is extremely knowledgeable, highly respected, has over 2 1/2 decades of experience, and so personable that you know him and his team really do care about their client and take the time to understand and represent the client with the upmost professionalism and strategy that can only be learned through years of experience, practice, and knowledge. This is exactly what I found in the two years time that Joel Seidel and his colleague Tasneem Campwala represented me in my high conflict child custody case. From the beginning Joel and his team were the upmost of professionals. Not skipping a beat in the representation of me and my young daughter. After initially hiring an attorney who seemed to not have the experience to navigate the Family Court system in the City of Los Angeles, I did some follow up research and found Joel to be exactly what I needed and wanted, someone who went above and beyond all of my expectations. Once I hired Joel everything was like clockwork. Every phone call, email, or text I sent to Joel and Tasneem was responded to immediately and always within a very short time. Joel’s representation of my case in court was always on point and him and his team were never drawn into the drama that the opposing counsel was trying to create but only stuck to the facts and our strategy of what was best for my daughter. At this point my daughter is 5 years old and if I need to use Joel’s services at any point before she turns 18, I will not hesitate to call him as he and his team have represented me and my daughter with the upmost diligence, care, and professionalism. Custody issues can be extremely difficult but what makes it easier is having a team that understands clearly and concisely what they’re doing and I’m thankful to Joel and Tasneem for fighting for me and my daughter and getting the best possible outcome. Mr. Seidel represented me on a case that involved child custody issues, child support issues, spousal support issues, attorney fees, and the division of assets. There are many divorce attorney who are skilled out there, but to find a skilled Family Law Attorney who is highly ethical as well as reasonable in his billing practice and willing to listen to your wants and needs is a rarity. Mr. Seidel has all of these qualities and frankly much more... he is a sk...illed negotiator and focuses on the children's' needs and his clients goals. I was involved in a very high conflict divorce extending for several years and after going thru a half dozen Family Law Lawyers, I found Joel as the legal eagle who understood the complex issues and fought vigorously to attain justice for the kids and certainly for me as an alienated parent. Go With Joel to save your sanity and savings, specially after a nasty divorce!!

I have interviewed and worked with dozens of attorney's in the family law field, however Joel is hands down the best there is! My girlfriend had some very bad attorney's represent her and received a devastating order awarding custody of her children during the week to her ex-husband. After this order... was put in motion, we had an exceedingly difficult uphill battle ahead which seemed almost hopeless at the time. We spoke with many attorneys, of which some weren't even willing to take the case and was referred to Joel by one of the most prominent family law attorney's in Los Angeles. After interviewing Joel and another attorney, I asked Joel why we should go with him. He very humbly and confidently said "because I'm at the top of my game". We took a chance and made what turned out to be the best decision and hired Joel. He went completely out of his way to meet us late in the evening because we lived 70 miles away. He was very attentive and in the first meeting we realized that he really cared. We came to really appreciate and admire Joel's no nonsense approach and ability to keep us focused on the real issues. Throughout the process, he provided excellent advice, was very calming for my girlfriend and was able to help navigate the land mines being thrown at her. We provided Joel with all of the information he requested and showed up to our first court date. There were some curve balls thrown at us, but Joel shined like a star. The Judge had already made her ruling and Joel did what he does best. He presented some overwhelming facts convincing the Judge to reconsider, which she did and changed the whole momentum of the case. We had another court appearance where another curve ball was thrown at us. Joel again calmly and confidently made his case and illustrated to the Judge the importance of the serious issues at hand. This resulted in awarding a final court date to take testimony from both sides and decide if this terrible order would stay in effect. Joel was able to see and focus the attention on what the real main issues were. He provided excellent guidance and discipline to keep the focus on these main issues when we were diverting off the course which was frequently. The day of the trial came and Joel was extremely prepared. He truly is "at the top of his game" and tried an amazing case resulting my girlfriend getting custody of her children. We will forever be grateful to this amazing man that was able to get justice and custody of her children. He truly is the most ethical, moral, honest, straight forward and caring attorney I have had the pleasure or working with. I would recommend ANYONE to work with Joel, as in my opinion he is the best there is!
