You can check with an immigration attorney, but vacating a sentence is very difficult and rare.

You can get him an attorney and make the prosecutor produce a warrant. However, if he does really have a warrant perhaps an attorney can arrange...

Talk to an immigration attorney but if the defendant was removed he likely can't return.
