maybe a motion for reconsideration. Maybe go to the public defender's office and see if they can help him reapply so it will get approved.

Transcripts, or at least the notes are kept for a long time. I don't know about destruction, but you can go to the court and look in the court...

I don't practice in TN, but under federal law you're only prohibited from owning/using a firearm.

First the court doesn't charge, the DA does. Second, you can get two strikes from one case.

Not unless the relative is an attorney. Waste of time. A bench warrant will issue if he doesn't get an attorney. Have him call an LA area...
