Mr. Baker’s practice focuses on real estate, real estate transactions, and construction litigation throughout Los Angeles and Southern California, including Riverside/San Bernardino counties. Mr. Baker’s background includes investigating zoning code violations, managing administrative enforcement of land use regulations, and presenting reports at public hearings. Today he applies those skills to provide valuable insight and creative problem-solving when advocating for his clients.

Mr. Baker principally represents property owners in land transactions (purchase-sales, leasing, neighbor disputes, zoning, building construction regulation, landlord-tenant disputes, property management issues, construction litigation (property owner versus contractor) and residential code-compliance matters. He has handled hundreds of matters involving residential projects including multi-family, mixed-use, and the gamut of simple small structures to large luxury residences.

Mr. Baker works extensively with local governmental agencies throughout Southern California in a large variety of land use and construction issues. Mr. Baker's experience allows him to provide unique professional insight in Zoningm, building code applications, and Code Enforcement issues. Thus giving him credibility with local governments. His practice includes compliance counseling, representation before government and regulatory organizations, litigation and dispute resolution.

Mr. Baker is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of West Los Angeles School of Law where he served as a published author and on the University of West Los Angeles’ Law Review, as well as a Dean’s List Scholar. Mr. Baker is in his 24th year of practice in both transactional law and litigation, following his 20 years in business sales and management. This which affords him a unique perspective on resolving legal matters. Mr. Baker negotiates successful conclusions by utilizing creative and pragmatic solutions.
