Hidden Gem Attorney. Nothing but Great Experienced.

Better than what we anticipated from a typical attorneys! We hired an Attorney from Rivers Law Firm for helping to deal with the school district regarding placement of our son's NPS/school. We tried tirelessly to communicate to the district to get the help but nothing seemed to be working. District n...ot intend to respond to us for nine months long upon our emails and from our last iep signatures, To come up with the solutions. It pushed us to seek help using an attorney.  With The help of the attorney: The district finally responded and we have the school we want and the transition has taken place and the placement process went smoothly. We also got settled with an agreement for the Compensatory Education for our son entitled services that had been lost.  But the details to the Question is why did we move forward with Rivers Law Firm? The answer: It is based on Clients' Experiences pre contract agreement. It is important for us to decide if we like to proceed to hire that attorney or otherwise.  It is true as a matter of fact: We need professional help and they can be the hero to our issue. But without our decision to move forward, most likely there won't be a business happening. So based on that we share here what we found as client's of Rivers Law Firm and who represent us: We have Surisa to help us as our attorney.  She's profesional, has long knowledge and experience in special education law and To our Surprise: she actually has a kind and patient heart, even by the time we met her for a consultation, She was in condition of post leg surgery but she still had met us for the scheduled session. We should say; Surisa is a type of down to earth attorney, She was willing to have time to listen and give us insight on law and suggestions in terms of law perspective around Special Education. Her approach to potential and already clients are over delivered and what we felt was more family/friends kind of vibes rather than merely transactional business as usual kind of relationship. Indeed at the end she represented us with her role and duty that followed dues as the services that had been served. But owning experience itself brought value.  We as parents who have a special needs child highly recommend her to fellow parents who having the same child situation while facing difficulty with the public special education To contact Rivers Law Firm for a consultation.

Look No Further. Hire Surisa Rivers

I recently hired Surisa Rivers to help me with a case regarding my daughter's need for accommodation at a private school and to help us attain a contract for next year (which they were denying based on my daughter's ADHD. Ms. Rivers was an amazing advocate for us and she handled the situation profes...sionally, thoroughly and with compassion. She was very upfront about her time constraints (for example, if she would be in court for 3 days in hearings and wouldn't be able to respond to me, she let me know) so I wouldn't be in the dark about why I might not hear from her. She did her research, was articulate and was very thorough in her research of precedent to help support my case. Many lawyers won't take on a case against a private school but Surisa believed in our case and was a great support during a stressful time. It only took one letter for her to get the school to agree to our demands, that is how good the one letter was. I highly recommend that if you have an educational issue that requires a lawyer, you hire Surisa Rivers.

Autistic child finally received necessary services

Our autistic son was denied necessary services by his school to help promote his learning. We contacted Surisa Rivers Law Firm. The lead attorney in our son's case was Ms Sarah Gross. Sarah and Surisa listened to our complaints of the school and how our son was treated. Sarah reviewed our son's r...ecords and initiated the Due Process proceedings. In our first and only meeting with the school, they wanted this case settled. Our attorney negotiated with the school which resulted in our son receiving the necessary services immediately. Sarah and Surisa were well versed in special education law, worked very hard resulting in our son now receiving the necessary services to promote his learning. We would recommend this law firm to all who need to deal with the school regarding their children with special needs. We are very satisfied with the attorneys, Sarah and Surisa, as they explained the law to us, kept us informed every step of the way, and were very understanding.
