Thomas Lindon Simpson

I retained this attorney to represent me in a litigated divorce and custody battle. The divorce went on for 2 years and I incurred astronomical attorney fees due to unnecessary and unauthorized emergency hearings without informing the client. Mr. Simpson did not assist me in settling this matter and... was not looking out for the best interests of my family. Furthermore, Mr. Simpson withheld client funds in a trust and would not release them to me to operate my business and provide for my family. The matter only settled when Simpson depleted ALL of my assets and there was nothing left to pay him with. Once the funds were depleted, Simpson told me to take my case in pro per and left me without an attorney. Mr. Simpson double billed without cause and would not negotiate even a slight adjustment to my bill. After promising to personally handle my case, Mr. Simpson turned it over to his associate attorney.
