I signed on with her because the chiropractor recommended her. The conversation with her was brief and I didn’t understand how to deal with my situation or payments. I asked the receptionist how does she get paid and she said a third to Linda and a third to the chiropractor and a third to me.. I didn...’t know what to think.. of this answer. I did my due diligence. It was weeks before I changed attorneys. I finally switched because she didn’t answer my calls or emails. I called the state disability and asked them my questions. (During all this I am not getting any unemployment because the chiropractor wasn’t filling out his portion of the unemployment disability form and I’m going into serious credit card debt. ) the state employee said that I had grounds to switch because my attorney should be answering my questions, and helping me understand the situation. I’m glad I switched. I mentioned all this to the chiropractor, he was trying to defend her and her work; all while saying I should give her time because she’s sick and having her own problems. If she is having problems that are effecting her ability to work then she shouldn’t take on clients!!! At the end of all of this I’m the one who has to live with the limitations because of the accidents and financial burdens.

Even though Attorney Lucero promised to take on our case in the end she failed to represent me in court.After I gave her office all the court documents and summons she failed to appear for me. The court automatically sided with the other party and I ended up losing my home. I had in good faith put m...y family's well being in Linda Lucero and she had agreed to be a professional. When I dealt with her I felt she was extremely kind and knowledgeable of her field of expertise and she took on my case pro bono. My mistake was I did not get it in writing of the agreement between us. I feel maybe she was overwhelmed by her caseload or because she's disorganized in her office. I ended up losing my home and me and my family are homeless for the time being. So for anyone reading this make sure you get all your lawyer's promises in writing.Thank you and God Bless
