Throughout her career, Abigail has focused extensively on individual and class-action cases, including numerous wage-and-hour actions involving violations under the California Labor Code and the Fair Labor Standards Act. Throughout her career, she has settled over forty, recovering millions on behalf of employees in various industries, including those in the motion-picture, security, healthcare, food, retail, and banking industries. Abigail’s practice also includes individual labor-and-employment advice and counsel and general business litigation.
Abigail earned her J.D. at the UCLA Schoolof Law in 2003. During law school, Abigail interned in the Office of Business Affairs of Television, Acquisitions, Home Video and Film Music at Miramax Films, as well as in the Office of the Chief Trial Counsel, the State Bar of Californa, and in the Enforcement Division of the Commodities Futures Trading Commission. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Southern California in 2000, magna cum laude, with a B.A. in Political Science and academic minors in Business Administration and Law & Society.
Abigail was the past Vice President of the Board of the Filipino American Library and Filipino American Heritage Institute, where she dedicted seven years of community service. In October 2012, Abigail was elected to the Governing Board of the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council, where she served her term through April 2014. She also currently sits on the Board of Governors of the Philippine American Bar Association and the non-profit group, Search to Involve Pilipino Americans.
