I fight for the justice you deserve

We may live in a “David vs. Goliath” world, but my firm is here to hold major corporations accountable for putting their bottom line profits ahead of peoples’ lives. I am a skilled trial lawyer on a mission to make a real difference in my clients’ lives, and change the system so that others will not needlessly suffer similar fates.

My practice emphasizes civil trial law, including insurance bad faith, catastrophic personal injury, and health-related cases.  Our insurance cases include fighting a wide range of battles with health, life, disability, property and liability insurers.  We get justice for our clients and hold the wrongdoers accountable.

You don’t pay us unless we win

Because clients are frequently also fighting for their financial lives, we often work on a contingency basis, so clients don’t pay us anything until and unless we win your case through a verdict or settlement.  If we don’t win, you don’t pay us anything.

What sets our firm apart?

- Experience Working on the Other Side

I formerly worked in large corporate law firms defending insurance companies in bad faith lawsuits.  Because I understand how they think and operate, I can frequently stay one step ahead of their legal strategy.

- Well Respected and Solid Reputation
85% of my cases are referred by other attorneys who are aware of my insurance expertise and reputation for out-working the defendants’ legion of corporate lawyers. That’s also why opposing attorneys take notice when I’m on the other side — they know they’re in for a fight.

- Personal and Caring Client Attention

I take very few cases so I can personally devote a tremendous amount of time and care to each client.  I get to know my clients, their families, and the real story behind their suffering.  Unlike many law firms, I do not run an assembly line law firm that delegates cases to dozens of associates and focuses on quick settlements to pay associates’ salaries and cover massive office overhead.  Instead, I rely a focused team of people I know I can count on, and I serve as the lead attorney on every case.

- Passion, Commitment and Hard Work
I take pride in the passion and integrity I bring to every case, but please don’t take my word for it. Take a few minutes to view the testimonials from clients in some of my recent cases.

- Successful Track Record

Even though I approach every case from a humanistic point of view, results speak louder than words in the field of law. I’m proud to say I’ve compiled a solid record of positive financial results for my clients, while providing the high level of personal care and support that provide me with invaluable emotional satisfaction.

Scott Glovsky is an amazing attorney! Look no further
Scott represented me in a very complicated case against Anthem Blue. Many other attorneys told me to give up my fight, said I couldn't win, said to give up, but not Scott. He took on my case and he won, BIG! Don't ever doubt that you are alone. If you have problems with your health insurance denying you care, CALL SCOTT GLOVSKY. He can help and will if he is able!

A True Hero!
When one of the corporate giants in the health insurance industry wrongfully terminated my family's health insurance during the fight of our life against terminal cancer. Scott and his team fearlessly stepped up and fought a battle against this giant. Scott and his team worked extremely hard for me, they were compassionate and truly cared about the fight they were fighting. I now consider Scott both a personal friend and a hero!

Scott Glovsky is Honest,Sincere, Full of Ambition to seek justice
When I first meet Scott Glovsky in 2010. I was so amazed by his heart and ambition for justice for kids with special needs. My daughter has autism and was denied therapy treatment with the biggest health insurance companies in California.... It can be Extremely challenging to find the appropriate therapy for kids on the spectrum let alone one that will be covered through insurance and that the insurance would accept. We found one and I was so very thrilled for my daughter to begin her much needed therapy. But there was a problem our insurance denied treatment they said it was not needed . That is where Scott Glovsky came in. He was so very kind, understanding, listened and sincerely wanted to help the kids who were being denied services . He explained that it could be a process but he had very high expectations on how it could possibly turn out.He took our case and fought for justice for our daughter. He asked for no upfront cost only if he wins he would get a percentage we agreed and he began his wk. He handled Everything kept us up to date on what was going on. He is so very patient when he explains the case. He is one of the kindest men you will ever meet with a great heart he will be upfront with you and you can be rest assured that he will do what is needed he is full of ambition and will go that extra mile to seek justice for you and your loved ones.. What an Amazing Attorney he is now if only all Attorneys were like him.. I am so very thankful for his hard work willingness to take on this case not even knowing what the outcome would be. Scott paved the way to make sure that this would not happen to other kids. Thank you Scott for helping my Daughter I will forever be thankful to you and Jamie.

Scott Glovsky
More than a year after our daughter passed away after losing a battle with Anorexia, my wife and I decided to seek legal assistance for a case that we thought had merit. In essence, we thought that we had a case against the medical insurance company who discharged our daughter from the hospital when she did not weigh enough for an out-patient program. We contacted a few legal firms and were told that the Insurance Company had filed for Chapter X1 bankruptcy the day before our daughter died and we were turned down. A few months later, I received a call from Scott Glovsky who had worked for one of the firms that we had contacted, saying that he had started his own legal firm and had a personal interest in our case. Soon after, we signed an agreement in which Scott agreed to pay for all fees in exchange for a percentage of any settlement that we might receive. I realized right away that Scott was highly motivated and he possessed a work ethic "second to none." He quickly spent a significant amount of his own money interviewing witnesses, recording depositions and hiring expert witnesses. He also hired a legal assistant to help him with our case. Scott was always very sensitive to our emotions when talking about our case, and he politely asked if we would be interested in taking our story to the media. Subsequently, we were frequently asked to talk about our story on both local and national television. Then, about a year after we began the case, a judge issued a summary judgment against us virtually saying that we didn't have grounds for a lawsuit. However, Scott was so committed to our case, that he quickly filed an appeal, knowing that his expenses would increase significantly. Another year went by but Scott was relentless in pursuit of our case. An appellate ruling overturned the summary judgment and the State Supreme Court ended the appeal so that our case was back in consideration. Prior to going to trial, Scott was extremely thorough in his preparation for our case. He conducted mock trials with jurors, and his deposition summaries were very precise and understandable. During all of this, settlement discussions were held and initially they were terminated due to a lack of an agreement. However, during the week before trial the settlement offer increased significantly and a few days before the trial an agreement was reached. Even when this agreement was reached, Scott was very candid about his devotion to our case and was willing to go to trial. He left the final decision completely up to us. In summary, the experience was a very difficult ordeal as we were dealing with the loss of a beautiful daughter who had such a love for animals and music; however, throughout the ordeal Scott was supportive, kind, generous, and very professional. Given that description, I also found Scott Glovsky to be an outstanding attorney regarding his knowledge of the law and his ability to conduct a case. I would highly recommend Scott Glovsky.

Scott Glovsky has a heart
Our family worked with Scott over a four year period. I had never been involved in any kind of litigation before. Scott is a very warm, kind spirited person who always listened carefully and made sure we were comfortable with what was happening in our case. During depositions I always felt very supported and taken care of. Scott and his staff were very responsive whenever we had a question or called or emailed. Scott worked with our schedule and family logistics to make sure we had minimal travel or disruption to our family's schedule.

Amazing attorney!!
Scott is a very caring and competent attorney!! My case gave him access to some very personal information about me but he handled it with such sensitivity and professionalism that I could not have asked for anything more. Scott was willing to take on a HUGE insurance company and fight for me and my family even when the odds were against us; we won that battle thanks to Scott!

One of the best bad faith litigators in the state!
Mr. Glovsky represented my son against the largest HMO in California. This was one of the most important cases in the State regarding mental health coverage for children in the autism spectrum and violations by the HMO of the mental health parity laws. I resulted in a published decision by State of California Appeals Court. and, after many years of litigation, the case ultimately was resolved. This case opened up the doors to secure behavioral and speech therapy for children in the autism spectrum that have a need for early intervention and intensive therapy to improve outcomes. I am very pleased for the amount of work that Mr. Glovsky gave my son's case and I will recommend him blindly.

Superb
Just a few years ago I was involved in a car accident that caused me serious physical issues. I got in touch with Scott after speaking to a few different lawyers and found him to be a very professional, warm and sincere person. Scott takes a familial approach to his practice and it made the experience a lot more pleasant than it should have been. He fought hard for my case and I really felt like he genuinely cared to get me a favorable settlement--which he did. Besides just being a warm individual, he was responsive whenever I called him, always kept me updated, didn't waste my time and had a game plan from day one. Scott is an excellent lawyer and I can't recommend him enough if you need someone to fight for you.

He is not honest
Please do not work with him. He is not honest about whether he will take your case or not. He promised me he would take my case and strung me along for months (valuable time in a wrongful death case) before getting his junior associate to tell me he would not take the case.
