Robert handled an overt David and Goliath case for me, during a time when (unrelated to significant retaliation at work) I endured a health trauma rendering me very ill when we were working together--not easy when you are called on focus and be at the top of your mental game. The inherent injustices ...in going up against an entity with significantly more power and $ to fight with, caused additional stress for my case, and due to these stressors our interactions were not always easy, sometimes even strained. What I grew to respect about Robert was that he, like I are was not inclined to hold grudges and we were always able to find common ground--and get past the bumps and back on track. He has a wit that I appreciated as we were able to diffuse stressful times with humor. He like all lawyers juggles lot, regardless, I never felt that he was putting me off--I felt as attended to as his other clients. Given the incredible stress I was under his tempered demeanor (not to be confused wth lack of strength) often helped to ground me. I believe mine was the first employment case dealing with a MAJOR medical academic institution that he handled--so anyone dealing with employment issues in this field would be wise to entrust your case with him--as he immersed himself in learning and cutting through the red-tape BS that was thrown at him in this case. Even two years after representing me he still gets back to me immediately when I have residual questions--a rarity in this profession. I particularly like that he is clearly a good family man with very apparent care for his wife and children.
