Mr. Medina's practice is limited to family law matters. He handles all aspects of marital dissolutions, including those involving high-asset marital estates, complex financial issues, property characterization, business valuation, child custody, child support, and spousal support, from the inception of a case through settlement or trial. He also represents clients in domestic violence actions. Mr. Medina also handles guardianship matters.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERTISE

Mr. Medina was born in Los Angeles, California. After graduating from Cathedral High School, he enlisted in the United States Army. He was stationed in Baumholder, West Germany. After his Army stint, he graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern California (USC).

Mr. Medina then joined the the Los Angeles Police Department attaining the rank of sergeant after only five years. Mr. Medina earned his law degree at the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law (UCLA).

Mr. Medina began his practice in Los Angeles, California handling various civil matters. He eventually began to focus on family law matters and family law soon became his specialty. He is a California State Bar Certified Family Law Specialist. Mr. Medina is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers

Mr. Medina has been selected as a Southern California Super Lawyer from 2010 through 2026 by Super Lawyers Magazine.
