I am very grateful to the lawyer Irma Pérez because I had a deportation order and in a short time after she represented me they took away my deportation and it was so fast that I could not believe it. Irma did everything humanly possible to walk me and explain all the steps (of all the applications & all the timelines) to make sure I felt comfortable and sure with my decisions on which steps to take and what if concerns if any and how we would tackle them. I had concerns about tattoo's that were not 100% removed by laser and was afraid that could be interpreted as gang affiliated and would be used against me and my case. The appointment in Juarez was the most overwhelming experience in my life but she made me feel as safe and sure about the steps we were taking and possible outcomes. I was referred to Attorney Perez through a colleague of hers who explained to me that Atty Perez had more experience in a case like mine. Long story short, I am a convicted felony and my charge was gun related. I had successfully renewed my residency before, but with the current administration I was ...concerned my application would be denied. The experience overall has been pleasant. I have seen progress. Irma, has been very positive and knows her stuff really good. At first, I was skeptical and unsure of the possibilities to be legalized because I had seen other immigration attorneys that said I had "no chance." When things where moving ...slow (I was waiting) I realized Irma, truly has her clients best interest at heart. She started to file paperwork for a work permit for the mean time until I am granted my Visa. From what I have seen with her handling my case she is thorough and understands her clients desperation. I now have a better job and a California Driver's License. This is a lengthy process but, when you see good results along the way it makes you feel better than if you're just waiting for something with no sign of anything happening.
