HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

There is absolutely ZERO communication about your case, my case got tossed between all 3 lawyers at this practice. It took MONTHS for them to get my wage garnishment processed and then after they dropped my case they sent me emails claiming that I hadn't paid my attorney's fees (which thankfully I ha...ve the receipt for). They rarely answered the phone, wouldn't return messages or calls, wouldn't return emails and it got to the point where I had to show up in their office whenever I had questions or needed information. Mark will tell you what you want to hear to get you out of the office and doesn't follow through, then drops your case without notice. Then when I continued my case without him he didnt fill out the legal forms to drop from my case so I was unable to file any forms. I am still having issued having him fill out this form because I can neve get a response from him. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Unfortunately, a very negative experience.

I am sorry to say that I had a very negative experience with Mr. Warfel. It began with him being one hour late to our first court date with no communication until after I frantically called his office and cell several times. Afterwards, there was a 3 week period of complete non-communication despite ...several attempts on my part to get in touch. It turned out that there was a family emergency on his end, which I totally understand - however, shouldn't any professional organization have some kind of system for these types of situations? An email auto-responder, or access to his email by an assistant, anything? Instead, I was completely ignored for 3 weeks, which was unprofessional and insulting to me as a paying client. To add insult to injury, there were additional miscommunications when I requested my documents back, as I had given them original copies of paperwork. They told me they were mailed to me, and when I hadn't received them a week later, ignored me again when I tried to find out what happened. When they finally got back to me, it was discovered that they had never been mailed out at all. Meanwhile, I had been panicking (again), thinking the docs were lost in the mail. I'm sure my experience is not typical, as others have had positive experiences with Mr. Warfel, but I must be honest in sharing mine. I feel like my entire professional relationship with Mr. Warfel and his staff was filled with panic and anxiety from not ever knowing what was going on or having my calls returned. After the time and money I had invested in such an important case, I was extremely disappointed in the lack of organization, communication, and level of importance placed on my case.

Very Competent in his field, Reliable, and Knowledgeable

My divorce was the most stressful thing I ever had to go through….especially with a crazy ex-husband who preferred to fight over every last thing, (rather than settle). I went through several attorneys before hiring Mr. Warfel’s law firm. Mr. Warfel was the first attorney I hired that I didn’t feel ...was trying to rip me off on the attorney fees! I told him what my budget was and he was honest about what he could and couldn’t accomplish in my price range. Believe me, it’s better to know up front what you’re looking at, so you can decide what your strategy is going to be with the money you have available. The other attorneys I hired earlier had ‘no idea’ what their representation would cost….only to run through a big chunk of my money without accomplishing anything. I didn’t know better then! You’d be surprised at how dumb and incompetent some of the lawyers seemed to be that I worked with! I wondered how they ever passed the bar in the first place! I was lucky that I finally found a competent attorney. The motions Mr. Warfel filed in court were professional and well-written! I appreciated Mr. Warfel’s confident courtroom ‘style’… the way he made his arguments in front of the judges. I could tell that Mr. Warfel truly cared about the outcome of my case and wasn’t in it just for the money. He fought to win and win he did! Mr. Warfel also handled a few other matters on my behalf…including a real estate issue and the making of a new will, after my divorce. I highly recommend trying Mr. Warfel first, before wasting money on one of the other ‘incompetent boobs’ I originally hired!
