I hired miss Hovden For family law communicating with her was very tiring she really does not listen to yur concerns she drags paperwork out charges you to continue to drag them out 5 k every two weeks you cannot comment or you have to pay 375.00 per hour and she will not listen every thing she doe...s is thirty minutes could not get Divorce always an issue with my attorney very very very disappointing attorney make sisuatiom even more difficult stay clear horrible experience

This attorney has trouble answering questions without being vague and shifty. Felt like a constant game of smoke and mirrors, and 'you can't get there from here.' Upon retaining new counsel we found that court dates could have been scheduled months earlier (she said we couldn't get earlier dates be...cause of State finances). Also learned that spousal support was recommended at 8K per month by the Disso-Master - she advised us that the recommendation was 5K and that the judge would award this anyway if a hallway agreement could not be reached. She failed to file papers in a timely manner, would not use email and did not return phone calls within the timeframe she agreed to before accepting the 5K retainer. She didn't remember what she had committed to from one meeting to the next. Very disappointing experience from someone you would expect to have your back.
