Elizabeth Kim joined Lanzone Morgan, LLP as a law clerk in August 2022 and became an attorney for the firm in November of the same year. Raised with three younger brothers in a close-knit family, Elizabeth learned the importance of being a voice for the voiceless from an early age. After her younger brother was diagnosed with cancer, she became painfully aware of the corporate greed that pervades our healthcare system. This experience ignited her passion for advocating for those in need, particularly vulnerable populations like the elderly.
At Lanzone Morgan, Elizabeth has found an ideal platform to combat this corporate greed and champion the rights of elder abuse victims. Fueled by the belief that every individual deserves to be treated with dignity, Elizabeth continues to fight for the rights of her elderly clients, who have often been overlooked and abused by those responsible for taking care of them.
After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2018 with a B.A. in political science, she attended Chapman University, Dale E. Fowler School of Law on a merit scholarship. While in law school, Elizabeth earned the 2022 Frank Simpson III Scholarship for Excellence in Advocacy, thanks to her success on the Mock Trial, Moot Court, and Alternative Dispute Resolution teams. She also served as the Competitions Chair for both the Moot Court Board and the Mock Trial Team and earned CALI Awards for achieving the highest grades in Evidence, Trial Practice, and Contract Drafting.
In addition to her work at Lanzone Morgan, LLP, Elizabeth actively volunteers with Chapman’s law school competition teams and coaches aspiring lawyers. Elizabeth was motivated to volunteer after the sudden passing of her mentor and favorite professor. She hopes to continue her professor’s legacy of passionate advocacy and integrity. Recognized for her dedication and accomplishments, Elizabeth has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2025 and featured in the Top 100 Verdicts in Los Angeles in 2023, Top 100 Personal Injury Verdicts in California in 2024, Top 50 Personal Injury Verdicts in Los Angeles in 2024, and Top 50 Verdicts in Los Angeles in 2024.

Elizabeth is an incredibly smart, hard working, and effective litigator in Nursing Home Abuse and Neglect Cases. I've worked with her personally and professionally and highly recommend her for her diligence, work ethic, and persuasion. I would certainly want her on my side of the courtroom.
"I have had the privilege of working with Elizabeth Kim on numerous elder abuse and personal injury cases. She is an outstanding attorney. She is compassionate with her clients, but she is also a fierce advocate for them at the same time. Barely one year after obtaining her law license, Elizabeth tried a case in front of a jury in downtown Los Angeles and obtained a 2.3 million dollar verdict in an elder abuse case against a nursing home on behalf of a neglected nursing home resident. Elizabeth gets results for her clients. Not only do I endorse her as an attorney, but I encourage people to call her if they or a loved one has been a victim of elder abuse or neglect in a nursing home."
"It's a privilege to work alongside Elizabeth in representing victims of nursing home neglect and abuse. I am inspired by Elizabeth's passion, dedication, and skill as she fights tirelessly to achieve justice for elders and their loved ones."
