SuperHero

Mr.Means was my public defender in Ventura County, he was amazing!. He managed to get the court to take mercy on me, not a minor task in Ventura County. Because of him, I did not lose my financial aid for school. Because of the work Mr.Mean's put into my case and the faith he had in me, I was able t...o continue attending junior college and have since obtained my AA. I am currently pursuing my BA in addiction psychology. He listened to what I had to say, and if you know anything about public defenders that's rare!. He never made me feel like I was nothing more than the crime I had committed and again that's rare. I Can't express what a tremendous difference he made in my life and in helping me to get my head on straight. He is a rare gem and will always be a superhero to me.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
