Minh represented me in a personal injury action. He was very responsive and returned my phone calls timely. He kept me informed re the developments in my case, so I knew exactly what was happening in every stage of the litigation. He was also very honest with regards to his assessment of my case, ...its strengths and weakness. I have a “soft tissue” injury case from a car accident 3.5 years ago. Unfortunately, my case ended up going to trial. I originally hired Lawrence Lallande, who was unavailable to represent me due to vacation plans he did not want to change, so he hired Minh Nguyen to represent my case at trial, a...ssisted by Karina Lallande (Lawrence’s daughter, Lallande Law). The total award/judgment was $300,452. I received 8% of the total award. Lallande Law and Law offices of Minh T. Nguyen spent over $178k on my case, (including an 11k hotel bill at a “boutique hotel”). Their profit was over $97k (4 times as much as I received--not including the exorbitant amount they spent on trial costs, hotels, and dinners). The Honorable Judge Thomas W. Wills made the following statement during trial: “I have not seen behavior like the repeated transgressions of the Plaintiff’s counsel in this case in nearly 40 years in this business.” Overall, in addition to the terrible financial outcome in my case (I didn’t even come close to recouping my lost wages from time off work for medical treatment), I did not have a good experience, or feel secure with either Minh or Karina. I never knew what to expect and felt severely under-communicated with. Prior to going on the stand for hours over 2 days, I had received hardly any instruction or prep from my attorneys and felt as though I was thrown to the wolves. Overall, I did not have a good experience. I trusted that they knew what they were doing—assuming that if we won, the proverbial "proof would be in the pudding.” As it turned out, the pudding was rancid—despite “winning” the trial. I would STRONGLY recommend to avoid both Minh Nguyen Law and Lallande Law.

I had high hopes in Minh but he failed me on so many levels. I believe that he has too many clients and not enough support staff to assist him. He came completely unprepared to court and since my case was such "no brainer case" he assumed that he will simply prevail but he did not. Take my word i a...m not simply a disgruntle client, he truly wronged me and caused me to loose my case. And to top things off he refused to represent me for the appeal even after he assured me that he would do so after the trial ended. I had such a legitimate case and the defendants were 110% at fault and i had legitimate and serious injuries with life lasting aches and pains. This was a lawsuit that should have not been lost ... I believe that he is a smart and a good lawyer but a lawyer needs to be prepared when they show up in court especially when they are against a lawyers that are hired by the insurance company ... he cant just wing the trial and come up with the questions that he needs to ask in the courtroom. I believe that he has way too many cases and hes not able to give them the attention that they need, So the clients end up suffering, but to me he showed his true colors when he did not want to represent me in the appeal process. I would have expected him to at least try and fix the damage that he caused instead he dropped me without even blinking and i am left with a judgment against me ... I highly recommend that you hire a lawyer that is part of a large firm so your lawyer can get the adequate support and resources needed. I truly hope that my review will help others not make the same mistake that i made.
