All traits that make Araceli stand out from others and makes her an amazing attorne...y in a time that can be personally challenging or one of the most difficult time in one’s life… custody, divorce, etc. Araceli maintains her clients well informed on process and is very responsive to questions and follow-up on cases. She engages with her clients carefully assessing the case, applying the law objectively, and agreeing on next steps and strategy. She is a beast as a litigator – respectful and powerful in the court room. In the two occasions I had to participate in hearings in front of two different judges, both judges alluded to Araceli being a very good and knowledgeable lawyer. Other traits and skills that stood out for me is that Araceli graduated from a top tier law school, she is bilingual (English/Spanish), culturally sensitive, has a great personality, and is a wonderful storyteller. Bottomline: Araceli exceeded my expectations and won everything I hoped for in my family law case. She prepares her clients with complete transparency and realistic expectations. Attorney Lerma and her staff provided exceptional service during one of the most difficult periods of my life. I am writing to share what a great experience I had working with attorney Araceli Lerma. After a failed attempt at mediation, a friend referred me to Araceli. After talking to her for five minutes, I knew I would hire her. I was not disappointed. She is incredibly knowledgeable about divorce law,... and knows all the ins and outs of the LA Superior Court system. Most importantly, she is a true advocate for her client – she made sure I got a fair deal and protected me every step of the way throughout the settlement process. I found her to be an excellent negotiator. With her solution-oriented approach, she worked with me every step of the way to strategize and work toward finding common ground with the opposing attorney. She applies a friendly, non-threatening, congenial approach; however, she was not afraid to draw the line in the sand whenever necessary and stand her ground on her client’s behalf. I would give Araceli ten stars if I could. She made what could have been a horrible experience much more tolerable. My divorce was finalized (luckily) without any major complications, and I am pleased with the outcome.
