I have always been hesitant to seek help from attorneys because most of them seek untrustworthy but Phyllicia made me feel at ease. She took her time explaining everything to me and letting me know what to expect. She made herself available and always answered any questions or concerns I had. I emailed Ms. Marquez inquiring on her services. (In need of a attorney specializing in family law/custody). After about 4 days of no response, I decided to give her a call. The receptionist who answered asked for my info and placed me on hold for a couple of minutes. When she returned, she stated th...at Ms. Marquez was not available over the phone, but she'd be glad to schedule an appointment with me. In my email, I stated exactly what I needed and basically wanted to know if she could help....simple yes or no would have sufficed, but I got nothing. Anyway, after the receptionist offered to schedule an appointment I asked if it were a free consultation. She says," no it's not, it's $150 to talk to her, but you can talk for as long as you want". I'm sorry, but I think this is a bit ridiculous. It's okay to charge for the consultation, but sheesh, I may not even want to hire her after speaking with her. I just felt that one, she should be a little better at responding to emails or don't list your email address. And two, she needs to realize that communication is key to any business.
