Chelsea M. Norris is a Certified Family Law Specialist with 13 years of dedicated experience representing clients in family law litigation and mediation. Her practice is strictly focused on complex divorce, child custody and visitation, spousal support, child support, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and domestic violence.

Known for her strategic advocacy and practical, human-centered approach, Ms. Norris is top-rated by former clients and peers alike. She has been named a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” every year from 2018 through 2026—a distinction awarded to no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in California based on peer recognition and professional achievement. 

Community Advocacy & Service
Dedicated to protecting families both inside and outside the courtroom, Ms. Norris serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for multiple foster youth. She also spent over a decade volunteering with the Los Angeles County Bar Association Domestic Violence Project, drafting hundreds of emergency declarations for victims seeking Temporary Restraining Orders.

Education & Background
Ms. Norris earned her Juris Doctorate from UCLA School of Law in 2013, where she served as Submissions Editor for the UCLA Women’s Law Journal and Article Selection Editor for the Dukeminier Awards Journal. During law school, she also mentored underprivileged high school students in Los Angeles through Minds Matter.

She received her Bachelor of Arts degree with High Honors from UC Davis, double-majoring in International Relations and Women & Gender Studies. A recipient of the Regents Scholarship, her commitment to public service spans her entire career. In college, Ms. Norris volunteered at the California State Capitol and visited residents in senior care facilities. She also worked one-on-one with individuals experiencing homelessness—personally accompanying them on thrift store trips to hand-select attire for job interviews, offer encouragement, and help restore their confidence during critical life transitions. Additionally, she spent six months studying politics, Hindi, and women’s rights in India.

Personal Interests
Outside the courtroom, Chelsea enjoys yoga, Muay Thai, wilderness backpacking, paleo cooking, and international travel.
