Erin Elizabeth Dixon

The Law Offices of Erin E. Dixon is an Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts, Conservatorships and Probate law firm serving Southern California with offices in Redondo Beach, California.  Erin E. Dixon, the principal at the firm is a third generation attorney and is a native of the South Bay. Erin's grandfather August J. O'Connor founded a law firm in downtown Los Angeles in 1929. Her grandfather and father Timothy M. O'Connor moved the law firm to Redondo Beach in 1960. Erin grew up in Torrance and was with the firm from 1995 to 2002. She now continues the family tradition of providing excellent legal services to her clients in the South Bay Communities with her own firm.

Dixon provides estate planning services. We help our clients plan for possible incapacity in later years, and the preservation and distribution of their wealth through the use of trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney, advance health care directives, business assignments and other legal documents. We offer detailed individualized plans that fit each client’s needs. Many people think that estate planning only involves the writing of a will. A comprehensive estate plan, however, involves financial, tax, medical and business planning and will generally be centered around a trust; a will is part of the planning process, but you will need several documents as well to fully address your estate planning needs.

In the areas of trust and probate administration, the Law Offices of Erin E. Dixon guides trustees, executors and administrators through the process of probating an estate or administering a decedent’s trust, giving our clients peace of mind at what can be a very emotional time. If necessary we represent our clients in litigation related to the estates they are administering. We also work to help protect the interests of our clients who are heirs or beneficiaries by advising them of their legal rights and representing them in litigation if necessary. We represent clients who need help setting up conservatorships for family members. We also represent proposed conservatees who might not want to have a conservatorship established.
