I am grateful to Michelle Dean for her professional representation, composure and work ethic. From day 1 she was very supportive dealing with this very stressful case and demonstrated empathy throughout the legal process by always being there for me. Any negative comment related to this lawyer come... from upset spouses whose lawyers did not perform as expected or weren't as good as Michelle. Oh well, they did not hire Michelle.... she was convinced my ex would need to pay all of her fees, and told me i would get over a thousand a month in child support. then she just kept dragging out the trail to be multiple days and adding more and more to my legal fees, while telling me it was okay because my ex would pay. then my ex was l...aid off, and she withdrew from the case. i went in on the last day of trial pro per and found out she had not filed my declaration to have my fees reimbursed and had filed an old income report that made it look like i have more money than i do. in the end i was ordered to pay almost 800 a month in child support and i still owe thousands in legal fees. at least she got me the schedule i wanted but i dont think i should have to pay her for trial when she didnt even file the right things.

In the course of my divorce (pre- and post), I have had a total four attorneys. Some wasted money; all wasted time. And then there is Michelle. Oh my gosh! My divorce was complicated, included many properties and business entities — and this woman got it done! And, as opposed to the others I worked ...with, was incredibly accessible, easy to talk with, and productive. I started with her when she was at another firm, and happily followed her to her partnership at Dean Rosen. And I live out of state! (But my divorce was in California.) I am not one who tends to seek out a place like this to attest to someone’s capabilities. But I did so in this case. I trust this woman completely. She has made this process tolerable and manageable.
