Melinda was straightforward and down to earth. She let me know information that I did not want to hear about paying spousal support, but I needed to hear it up front. I was falsely accused of civil harassment by my boyfriend's malicious ex-wife, so I hired Melinda to defend me. At the hearing my testimony and that of my accuser were almost identical; the facts of the case were undisputed. When the other side rested, Melinda simply stood, addressed the court and... made a motion that the court find in my favor as a matter of law stating that my accuser had failed to prove a single element of civil harassment, and the JUDGE GRANTED HER MOTION! Here in Texas this is known as winning on a motion of summary judgment. Melinda was well-prepared, thoroughly versed in the law, efficient, succinct, wise and deadly effective.
