When the relationship started he was firm, professional, kind, on time, and kept to deadlines. After the first two billing cycles (and we paid a five figure retainer at first) totaling close to six figures he suddenly seemed to lose interest and we stopped being his "priority client." He would take... days to return a call, he would reschedule meetings with us. It was a nightmare. It felt like he was so eager at first... and then, once he took some of our money, it stopped mattering. Our patience came to an end when, in a contract for a film production, he made rookie mistakes that--without being lawyers--we were able to figure out. The other side's lawyer gently let us know we were not being represented well. The insane aspect of this is that any criticism of Sean led him to become absurdly angry to the point of screaming and shouting on the phone. It was so unprofessional that I thought perhaps I had been sensitive and misinterpreted our call. Nope! It happened again a few days later and it was some of the most unpleasant exchanges I have ever had with a professional--let alone one I was paying for!

At first Mr. Marks gave my client and I excellent service and attention. Then it appears he got distracted. He was late returning calls and the work was phoned in. Once he left his lawfirm the quality of the work went down and he simply talked faster and worked less. He was outright hostile to ou...r requests for attention to our details.
