NOT A FIRM I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE

I was a client of Leeds, Wender and Rosenthal over a 12 month period. I wouldn’t recommend this firm to represent anyone. My case was very simple. No property, no children, no spousal support, yet somehow they managed to drag out the process over 12 months and 12 thousand dollars later I was stil...l no closer to ending the fiasco of a divorce proceeding than I was when I retained this law firm. You will not receive aggressive representation from this firm. They do nothing to expedite the process, but rather do a lot of tail chasing to run up the tab. I fired them 12 months in, collected my paperwork and took everything to 2 law firms to clarify what exactly had been done. Both separate firms confirmed that there was hardly anything done or filed with the courts on my case. I showed them copies of invoices where it was obvious I had been bill for services that were never rendered. Both firms I bought the paperwork to for clarificaton, confirmed this fact. The fact of the matter is the Law Firm of Leeds, Wender and Rosenthal shamefully took advantage of my nativity and vulnerability. They used up 12 months of my life and over 12 thousand dollars of my money and only complicated matters. When I contacted them to bring light to the fact that they had wrongfully billed me for services that were never rendered, so as to justify or rectify the situation. Mr. Leeds made the conscience effort to not even bothered to reply. NOT A LAW FIRM I WOULD EVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
