This review is strictly based on my experience with and my opinion of Attorney Vincent Mersich. Beware.

This Attorney presented himself to me as this extremely experienced employment/Labor discrimination Lawyer. That was not my experience with Mr Mersich. He seemed to start out well on my case, but, as we got close to trial in Federal Court against the Federal Agency I was employed at, he gave into t...he pressure, betrayed me and in my opinion, "sold me out" in a settlement negotiation. The Federal Agency put forth an offer for a settlement that was more advantageous to the Agency than me, his client. Needless to say, I was not happy with that settlement offer and Vincent Mersich threatened to withdraw from my case if I didn't agree to that one sided agreement. It was late in the game and he knew I was in a bad position so he took advantage of me by pushing that settlement agreement at me under the duress of him withdrawing from my case. So, I basically came out on the wrong side of that settlement because, in my opinion, Mr Mersich was more concerned about getting on the good side of the Judge and Assitant US Attorney who was mediating my case. He had divulged to me he had a somekind of previous interaction with that particular Judge, maybe an internship or something. He let it be known to me in no uncertain terms, if I didn't agree to that settlement, he was no longer willing to take it to trial despite the fact I had really strong evidence and case, and wanted my day in court. As I sit here today and review my case files, that settlement was in the best interest of the Federal Agency and not me, the Client. That settlement agreement has done irreparable damage to my Federal retirement that I can never recoup, damaged my reputation and pride. In the mediation meeting involving my case, he made remarks to me as my Attorney that was extremely embarrassing to me in that setting.. I personally regret retaining this Attorney to represent me in my case. Due to his representation, I lost so much. If you want to take your case to trial, I strongly recommend doing your due diligence and research before retaining him. As I previously stated, this is just my opinion based on my personal experience with this Attorney.

I would recomment this attorney to everyone!

Vince Mersich was a great! Very professional, kept me informed and helped me be completly reading for my unemployment hearing. He explained what would happen at the hearing and went through my file with me so that I knew what each piece of information was and how it would effect my case. I would ver...y much recommend attorney Mersich to anyone who is in need of a great, highly professional attorney.
