Mr. Mersich has spent his career handling a broad spectrum of labor and employment matters in California and Pennsylvania. Mr. Mersich’s approach is informed by his ability to see issues from multiple perspectives. Earlier in his career, he practiced at preeminent management-side firms, where he represented employers in complex labor and employment disputes. He also spent several years in public service, both as counsel to public agencies and as an Administrative Law Judge adjudicating regulatory matters. His unique blend of experience—as a defense attorney, plaintiff’s counsel, public servant, and adjudicator—has only strengthened Mr. Mersich’s position as an effective employee advocate.
Mr. Mersich earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from The Pennsylvania State University. He is licensed to practice law in California and Pennsylvania.
Originally from Latrobe, Pennsylvania, Mr. Mersich now lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and daughter. Outside of the office, he spends his free time studying classical guitar, perfecting his jump shot, and enjoying time with his family.
