I called The Nourmand Law Firm about not receiving my meal breaks and not being paid properly. From the minute that I met Mr. Nourmand he made me feel comfortable and explained the process to me. After a year he settled my case as a class action and to date I receive calls from my former co-workers thanking me for standing up for my rights and their rights.

After a few months of my employer deducting commissions that were owed to me, I finally called an attorney. Michael Nourmand's name appeared high up in my google search so i gave him a call. First thing he said to me is "Don't worry about a thing, I'll get you what's owed you". 'Great' I thought, finally some muscle on my side.
Unfortunately things went down hill from there. After a dozen or so phone calls I got the hint that he needed to file a class action lawsuit against my employer or no dice for me. He wanted information about all the other employees in the company, what they were paid, did they have the same issues, how much money did the company have etc. He was also interested in the corporate structure of the business, was it an LLC, S Corp, or sole ownership etc. He wanted to know about the personal wealth of the owner(s).
The company I worked for was small and fairly new. Michael immediately lost interested in pursuing legal action even though my case was rock solid because the potential class size was fairly small.
In the end I felt that Mr Nourmand was much more interested in suing companies that could afford to settle for a significant amount than represent my interests.

I was looking for an attorney who would help with my pregnancy discrimination claim that I had against my former employer. When I met Mr. Nourmand I knew that he was the right attorney for me. He took the time to listen to me and was very knowledgeable regarding my rights. He made me feel very comfortable and explained the process to me. He always returned my calls and kept me informed as to the status of my case. He beat all my expectations regarding my case. My life has changed thanks to his efforts and I would recommend him to all my friends and family.
