About Melissa
Biography
Melissa Rodriguez is an associate at Blackstone PC. She received her bachelor’s degree in criminology and justice studies at California State University Northridge, and then pursued her Juris Doctorate at UC College of the Law, San Francisco. One of her most favorite experiences in law school was serving as an extern for the United States circuit judge of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal, the honorable Kim Wardlaw.
Melissa is passionate about all aspects of employment law. Prior to joining Blackstone, she worked as employment attorney advocating for employee wage & hour rights. At Blackstone, she continues representing California employees in both class action and Private Attorneys General Act cases.
During her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and puppy Katara. Her hobbies include reading, snowboarding, working out, and playing soccer.
