I was found guilty back in 2013 for possession of weed with intent to sell. I left to China before sentencing. While in China I met a great woman and we had a Child. The Chinese police finally caught up with me in December on 2015. I was put into a Chinese detention center for 21 days. I thought I was going to miss the birth of my child. Fortunately for me the Chinese government only needed to verify my identity. Once the US government confirm who I was the Chinese police released me into the custody of y girlfriend. While I was in the Chinese detention my girlfriend found lawyers on Avvo. Kate was not the first, second, third or even fourth lawyer we contacted. I had this $200,000 warrant and upon my return to America Kate was able to get me time served with probation and community labor. I thought I would have to do years in state prison.
