Compassionate & Dedicated

I have been battling a Family Law court case on top of DCFS & law enforcement for the last 10 years (when I left my previous relationship). In the courtroom setting some cases/individuals fall through the cracks or get over looked and aren’t properly heard and I was one of them. After many years I fe...lt it was time for me to search for a lawyer to represent me and help me fight for what was right and I felt Ms. Mines was the best person to do that. From the very beginning Ms. Mines responded to all emails, calls and text messages promptly and was never hesitant to give me the best advice even if it was not what I wanted to hear. She helped me to remain positive and professional in the courtroom as well interacting with the other party. Ms. Mines and her staff spent long hours listening to all details of my case and drafting my response to the point that even the judge said himself said that he will not strike my response per the request of the opposing party because it detailed crucial information that was formatted appropriately. Over the last 10 years I have sat with, interviewed and consulted many lawyers, Ms. Mines is far from your average lawyer, she is dedicated, detail oriented, persistent and knows the law and will push/fight to get the justice her client deserves. Most lawyers are quick to tell you no or just take what they give you before even trying, whereas Ms. Mines will review the basis of a request and evidence to support and back it up and give you a logical reasoning as to whether or not the request is achievable. You’re not sold a dream, she gives facts and produces results. There are times where certain situations are out of the lawyers hands when it comes to the judge, she does not let that be the end all be all, she will fight with you. In the past I have referred to her as a female pit bull (not negatively) because she will make herself heard and in the courtroom her presence demands respect. Her rates match the service/representation you receive and if in this situation again Ms. Mines will be my first call.

Child Custody

I must say that Ms. Mines is well-versed in her occupation. I sent her a direct email, and she promptly responded (within 5 minutes). She reviewed the information that I provided her and set up a call. Ms. Mines listened to me and gave her opinion on the steps I should take in my case at length. She ...gave me the confidence to represent myself but offered to represent me if necessary. If you're looking for someone that will listen to you, understand, and give you the best solution, Ms. Mines is the person you should seek.
