With over thirteen years litigation experience, Allison R. Willett, Esq. focuses her practice on class actions, consumer protection, and business litigation. An aggressive advocate, Allison prosecutes cases against individuals and businesses that victimize others through negligence, deception and fraud.
Over the course of her career, Allison has recovered millions of dollars in settlements on behalf of her clients. She realizes the importance of maximizing and expediting financial recovery to compensate clients for their loss. Allison is thorough, effective, and insists her clients recover the compensation they deserve.
Originally from Northern California and raised in a family of attorneys, Allison grew up learning the value of the American legal system. She watched both her father and grandfather devote their careers to helping those in need of legal counsel. From an early age, Allison sought to also be an attorney, to help people obtain fair treatment under the law.
Moving to Southern California, Allison attended the University of California at Santa Barbara. In 2002, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Society with Dean’s Honors.
In 2005, Allison received her Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola Law School. While in law school, she competed in the Scott Moot Court Competition. Additionally, Allison volunteered with Loyola’s Center For Conflict Resolution, resolving disputes between members of the community as a trained student mediator. During this time, she received mediation certification satisfying California’s Dispute Resolution Programs Act requirements. Allison also served as a member of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, providing income tax return preparation and counseling for low-income persons or those in need.
Prior to co-founding Willett & Willett LLP, Allison litigated at a prominent class action firm in Los Angeles, California. Focusing on the representation of property owners containing defective, Chinese drywall, she recovered over $22 million in settlements for her clients. Through her relentless fight to get top dollar for her clients, Allison became inspired to build a firm that vehemently fought for the rights of those unable to fight for themselves.
Allison also has years of experience defending individuals, public entities and corporations. This defense background gives her a unique perspective while advocating for her clients and anticipating the opponent’s steps ahead.
In addition to helping her clients, Allison enjoys giving back to the community. She is involved with Boys Hope Girls Hope, a charitable organization providing group homes for economically disadvantaged, academically capable children.
