Pankaj has earned widespread recognition as a personable, knowledgable, and reliable startup, small business, and intellectual property attorney. He has helped clients resolve issues related to entity choices, stock issues, trademarks, copyrights, wage claims, film financing, music production, lease negotiations, landlord/tenant disputes, non-profit filings and more.
In 2009, Pankaj received his law degree from the University of Arizona Rogers College of Law where he was a member of the Student Bar Association, the International Law Society (ILS), and Entertainment Law Society. Pankaj served as the President of the International Law Society, clerked for a law firm working closely with partners and associates on real estate, employment and intellectual property matters and filed trademarks and created business entities for clients. Before starting the Law Offices of Pankaj Raval, Pankaj worked for two law firms in Tucson, Arizona, focusing on securities litigation, civil litigation and employment law as well as co-founded The Fashion Law Group, a boutique fashion-focused law firm based in Los Angeles.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Pankaj has grown up embracing his Indian and American identities. It was as a young adult, reading the works for Mahatma Gandhi that Pankaj decided to follow the footsteps of the great Indian revolutionary and pursue a career dedicated to justice. Pankaj graduated in 2005 from University of Arizona with a double BA in Economics and Sociology (Honors) with a minor in Business Administration. After graduating, Pankaj spent one year in India working with Indicorps, teaching music, fighting for fisherman property rights, and tutoring Tibetan monks in english. His work with marginalized communities and oppressed groups gives him a unique understanding of his clients problems so he can find creative resolutions to difficult disputes.
Pankaj resides in Los Angeles and is licensed to practice law in the state of California and Arizona. In his spare time, Pankaj enjoys playing basketball, hiking, reading, learning music, and spending time with friends and family.
