Biography
I handle all aspects of divorce, paternity and same-sex marriage/domestic partnership dissolution, including child custody and visitation, child and spousal support, complex asset division and business valuation.
I represent clients in all stages of divorce proceedings, from inception, through settlement or trial, and post-judgment. I approach each case from a settlement perspective, and I have an aptitude for aggressive litigation, when necessary.
As part of my committment to the legal profession and my community, I served 6 terms as chairperson of the Multicultural Bar Alliance of Southern California, an affiliation of minority bar associations working to promote diversity in the legal profession and the community, and I am a past co-president of the Lesbian & Gay Lawyers Association of Los Angeles. I am a certified Collaborative Law practitioner and a member of both the Los Angeles Collaborative Family Law Association and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
I am an active member of the Los Angeles County and Beverly Hills Bar Associations and a past board member of the Entertainment Publicists Professional Society in New York and Los Angeles.
Prior to practicing law, I enjoyed a successful, 10-year career in entertainment, Internet and technology public relations and marketing in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York.
