So-Jung Kim

Elizabeth Park’s practice focuses on commercial real estate transactions, including the drafting, negotiation and closing of office, creative space, and other commercial lease transactions.  Previously, Ms. Park was an associate with the Los Angeles office of an international law firm and served as in-house counsel to a publicly traded real estate investment trust with a portfolio consisting of over 17-million square feet of Class A office and retail space.  

Representative Clients and Matters

• Negotiated office leases and lease amendments on behalf of landlord opposite large institutional tenants including Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, The Prudential Life Insurance Company, Raymond James & Associates, PennyMac Loan Services and Xerox Commercial Solutions.
• Negotiated leases and lease amendments on behalf of landlord for office/creative use spaces with media, entertainment and internet companies including Shazam Media Services, , 20th Century Fox and Firefly Games.
• Negotiated leases and lease amendments for office and banking purposes including space occupied by  Washington Mutual Bank, Bank of America, Territorial Savings Bank and Banc of California.
• Negotiated retail leases on behalf of landlords of shopping and other retail centers throughout California and Hawaii.
